Single-feed check and document scanner from MagTek. Reads the MICR line via a magnetic head and captures duplex images. Often deployed alongside MagTek card readers where both card MSR and check MICR reading are required at the same station.
This scanner includes a magnetic MICR read head that reads the iron-oxide-encoded characters at the bottom of the cheque. The magnetic signal provides a primary read for the routing number, account number, and cheque number. An optical read of the same characters is typically used as confirmation or fallback.
