Earlier generation of the Digital Check TellerScan family. Widely installed in bank branches through the early 2010s. Drivers continue to circulate on legacy deployments.
This scanner includes a magnetic MICR read head that reads the iron-oxide-encoded characters at the bottom of the cheque. The magnetic signal provides a primary read for the routing number, account number, and cheque number. An optical read of the same characters is typically used as confirmation or fallback.

Discontinued hardware
This model is no longer in production. It is included in this catalog because many installations still run older hardware. Chequedb's scanner SDK integration supports legacy scanner families via TWAIN and ISIS drivers where vendor support continues.
